With the likes of pressure groups like “Enough is Enough”, “Save Nigeria Group” and the coalition of Nollywood practioners storming the capital city of Abuja, I got up earlier than usual after my routine prayer sessions I couldn’t go back to bed despite the fact that darkness was yet to give way to the light of day. The future of our country was at stake, with an ailing president and the mysterious manipulation of a group fondly called the CABAL, Nigerians were worried why there existed a vacuum in leadership.
Before the National Assembly could move the motion for the doctrine of necessity, Nigerians had to ask for it. The power in the hands of Nigerians irrespective of their beliefs, culture or ethnic composition was overwhelming as the unseen forces back pedaled while the Legislators gave us the birth of a new era, an era where people power is supreme.
