Reports coming from the CUPS confirms that the director general and chief executive officer of the Nigerian maritime administration and safety agency, Mr. Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi has been relieved of his duties. The erstwhile henchman at the maritime agency was reappointed in 2014 after heading the agency since December 2010. Before his appointment he was a lecturer at the Niger delta university.
