SA Covid-19 Cases as Youth Day is Commemorated

On this day forty-four years ago, over one hundred and seventy people mostly students were killed after a violent protest broke out in SOWETO against the use of Afrikaans language as the sole medium of instruction and learning.
One million one hundred and forty-eight thousand nine hundred and thirty-three coronavirus tests have been conducted and a total of Seventy-three thousand five hundred and thirty-three positive cases identified.
The recovery numbers from coronavirus are currently thirty-nine thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven and the number of fatalities standing at one thousand five hundred and sixty-eight.
