President Cyril Ramaphosa announce a nationwide lockdown in South Africa. This shutdown will commence midnight of Thursday the 26th March until Midnight of Thursday the 16th April. All South Africans are required to stay at home with exemptions for health workers, security services, emergency personnel and others necessary to respond to this pandemic.
Individuals will be restricted from leaving their homes unless under controlled circumstances such as seeking medical care or buying of food. Access to Post office, Clinics, Groceries, Hospitals, Banks and Pharmacies will remain open.
